New Products

Well if you have been following my blog you may have noticed I've been MIA. So since I have finished school for the time being I will review some products in the up coming weeks! YAAAY

The first is 2 products from ICE CREAM to fix my hair which I somehow dyed a horrible shade of orange when trying to add highlights. So now I am trying to go for a Marie Kate and Ashley Olsen look with the light blonde and dark roots. The products I am using will be hair colouring cream 9/1 and an oxidizing perfumed emulsion cream of 20%.

The next product helps the first. It is a Pro -Age conditioner with argan oil also from Ice Cream which you spray on the end of hair and leave in. This product will hopefully give some life to my bleached and damaged hair!

The last product is from Neostrata and is a Skin Renewal Peel Solution. Well this is simple I want tight bright skin and no more acne. I'm nineteen and my skin decided to go through puberty finally!

If anyone is from Canada you might realize I went H.A.M. at Shoppers Drugmart or as we say in Quebec Pharmaprix.

FALL BLUES (Chanel Le Vernis)

Its official. The end of summer is here *sigh*. While the weather in Montreal is still relatively warm, its hard to ignore the change in foliage and the leaves on the ground. What else would one expect, it is in fact October 1st!?

Personally, I love this time of year. For me it means switching into the comfort of my staple fall clothes and boots as well as transitioning my makeup routine into deeper tones to compliment the season.

One aspect that I find necessary in my beauty routine is to trade in my hot summer nail polish tones for a more neutral fall look. While visiting Paris this past summer,  we went to Chanel in search of some new colors to use for a versatile day to day look. I usually steer towards dark colors like a deep red or burgundy, but I decided to switch it up and set my sights on a navy blue tone called "Blue Rebel".

To put it lightly, I LOVE this color. This time of year I find myself wearing more denim which perfectly compliments this matte tone. Chanel has a wide variety of blue tones that I definitely recommend you discover for yourself. The nail color is quite long lasting, however, to maintain my nails underneath I match it with Butter London Nail Foundation and Topcoat. I always rave about Butter London as they have amazing quality and variety when it comes to nail care as their ingredients don't wreck havoc on your nail beds. Always a plus!

So that is what I am wearing this season!

Nail Color recommendations for Fall? Let us know what you think!

Chanel Le Vernis "Blue Rebel":  $29.00
Butter London Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat: $22.50
Butter London Hardwear P.D Quick Top Coat: $22.50

KEEP your Beautiful make up on (inpirations)

Dior

Backstage Makeup

Make Your Makeup last (Lise Watier Magnifix- makeup fixative with white tea)

First things first, before you shy away from this product or think its sounds too promising...Actually I take that back, the name is really way to promising.

Anyways, this product from Lise Watier, a Montreal based company- my home town- is incredible for use after all makeup has been applied. Its called Lise Watier Magnifix- makeup fixative with white tea and retails for $21. Basically, after you have applied your make up/ mask for the day, just spray 15 cm away from your  face and make sure you get all your face. Those with larger faces, like mine, need sometimes up to three sprays. Let it sit for a minute or two and after maybe half hour, the fixative will make so your powder and cream set together and so they do not leave a dry look or feeling.

The great part about this product is that it is just a fancy name for a simple product. IT'S A SETTING MIST!!!

Hope this SOLD you!
